Satyam Cineplexes

Our office for Satyam Cineplexes is over in Vikaspuri, specifically at Kg?I, 586. This is in New Delhi 18. It’s where we handle all the behind-the-scenes stuff that goes into running a cinema. You won't find any movie stars here, just us sitting at desks and looking at schedules. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of files and old promotional materials taking up space. It’s a functional office, nothing like the shiny theaters people usually visit. We have some posters on the wall from movies that came out years ago, mostly because we never got around to taking them down. Vikaspuri is a busy neighborhood, so there’s always plenty of places to grab a quick bite to eat during our break. We have a small table in the back where we sit and have our chai. The air conditioner hums quite loudly, but it’s better than the heat outside. We don’t really have a receptionist or anything, so if someone knocks, one of us just gets up to see who it is. It’s a very informal atmosphere. We just try to keep everything running smoothly so the theaters have what they need. It’s not a glamorous life, but we like being part of the movie business in our own small way. The office is just a place to get the job done and prepare for the next weekend rush.
