Sast,Delhi Flying Club Ltd.

Sast and the Delhi Flying Club Ltd. are based at A 56 in Sewak Park. This is right near Dwarka More and the Uttam Nagar area of New Delhi. You can hear the metro trains passing by quite often since we are so close to the station. It’s a busy, dusty part of the city where everyone is always on the move. Our office is a modest place where we handle the paperwork for the club. There are posters of old planes on the walls and a lot of manuals stacked on the shelves. We spend a lot of time talking to people who are interested in flying or who are already part of the club. It’s not a shiny airport lounge; it’s a practical space with tiled floors and metal desks. We have a small cooler for water and a lot of calendars to keep track of everything. The traffic at Dwarka More can be quite something, so we usually tell people to give themselves extra time to get here. We are just a group of people who are into aviation, working out of a regular building in Sewak Park. It’s not fancy, and the paint is peeling a little in the corners, but it’s where we get the job done. Every day involves a lot of typing and checking lists. We just keep things moving. The overhead fans hum all day long to keep the air moving in the office.
