Sasta Telecom

Sasta Telecom is located in the Chander Vihar area, specifically in Hind Vihar at C 20. It is a small place tucked into a residential street, so it feels more like a part of the local neighborhood than a regular business. We have a simple wooden bench sitting outside where people sometimes wait and talk while we are updating their phones or trying to fix a hardware issue. Inside the shop, it is mostly just me and a whole lot of tangled wires. I have been working in this spot for a few years, and the shop has not really changed much in that time. We have a few old posters on the walls that have faded from the sun. We deal with all the basic mobile needs, like adding balance to talk-time accounts or finding a specific cable that fits an older phone model. It is not a high-tech laboratory, just a regular desk with a good lamp and some small screwdrivers. The lighting inside is a bit dim because we only have a couple of bulbs, but it works for what we need to do. People from the nearby houses come in all the time, often just to ask for the time or to see if we have any spare change for the milkman. It is a slow and quiet pace of life here. We usually close up the shop around eight in the evening unless it is raining hard.
