We operate out of Type 4/98 in North West Moti Bagh. It’s a quiet area compared to the rest of New Delhi-21, which is nice when you’re trying to get a lot of work done. We handle things for Sarovar Hotels from this location. It’s more of an administrative setup, so you won’t see guests checking in or out here. Instead, it’s just us dealing with the paperwork, the schedules, and the various needs of the hotels we look after. The office feels a bit like a house because of where it’s located, which makes the long hours feel a bit easier. We have a small kitchen where we make tea, and the rooms are filled with files, folders, and ledgers. It’s not the most modern place in the world, but it’s comfortable and it works for us. We spend a lot of time coordinating with different branches, making sure they have what they need to keep their guests happy and the rooms filled. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish up the monthly reports or sort out a supply issue, but usually, it’s a steady nine-to-five kind of place. We know the local shopkeepers and the people who walk their dogs in the park nearby. It’s a very grounded way to work in the hotel industry. We just focus on the details that keep the bigger business running, without making much of a noise about it ourselves or the daily work we do.
