Our office for Sarovar Hotels is located in Flat No 1742 at ATS Greens Village in Sector 93 A, Noida. It is a bit different working out of an apartment complex rather than a big glass office building, but we like the feel of it. It’s more relaxed and you get to see families walking around the garden downstairs. Inside the flat, we’ve turned the rooms into workspaces. One room is full of files and another has the main computers where we handle all the hotel stuff. It gets a bit crowded when everyone is in at the same time, especially during meetings. We usually sit around the dining table for those. The view from the seventeenth floor is pretty good when the haze isn't too thick over Noida. We have a small kitchen where we make our own tea and lunch. It feels more like a home than a corporate headquarters, which suits us just fine. Sometimes the elevator takes forever so we have to plan our trips downstairs carefully. We deal with a lot of phone calls from the hotels and there is always some issue or another to sort out. It’s steady work and we keep at it from morning until the sun goes down over the other towers in the village. It’s just us doing our jobs in a quiet corner of the city. We don't have a flashy lobby, just a doorbell and a lot of work to do.
