Sapphire Ventures

Our office is at 4236/1 Ansari Road, right in the heart of Darya Ganj. If you know Delhi, you know how busy it gets around here, especially with all the book shops and old buildings nearby. It’s a pretty old part of the city, so the streets are always crowded with people and rickshaws. We are on the ground floor, which makes it easier for people to just walk in. Sometimes the noise from the traffic outside gets a bit much, but you get used to it after a few days. The office itself is quite plain. We have some old wooden furniture and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. We don't really have a big reception area or anything like that. People just come in and talk to whoever is available at their desk. We handle a lot of different things throughout the day, and it can get quite hectic when everyone is talking at once. Lunchtimes are usually spent grabbing something from the local vendors nearby. There's always someone coming or going. We don’t really do fancy meetings; we just sit around and figure things out as they come up. It’s a very practical way of working. Most of us have been here for quite some time now, so we know the area and the neighbors pretty well. It’s just a regular workplace where we try to get through the daily tasks. We stay busy enough.
