Sapphire Ventures

Sapphire Ventures is located at 4/33 in Sector 5 of Rajendra Nagar. We are over in Sahibabad, which is part of Ghaziabad in Uttar Pradesh. It’s an industrial and residential mix around here, so there’s a lot of energy and noise throughout the day. We use this space to manage our different small projects and business ideas. It’s a fairly modest office on the fourth floor, and we don’t have an elevator, so we get our exercise climbing the stairs every day. The room is filled with files and some old furniture we’ve had since we first started out. We aren't a giant investment firm with lots of money. It’s just a few of us trying to make things work and looking for new opportunities in the local market. Sometimes we’re dealing with suppliers, other times we’re just sitting around a table trying to figure out the budget for the next month. The traffic in Ghaziabad can be pretty tough, so we usually get here early and stay late to avoid the worst of the rush hour. We have a small window that looks out over the street, and we can see the tea stall down below where we go for our breaks. It’s a basic setup, but it’s ours, and we’ve put a lot of time into keeping it going. We don’t have a big corporate plan or anything like that, we just take things as they come and try to stay organized. It keeps us busy and we like the challenge.
