Sales Marketing

Our place is in Sangam Vihar, specifically at L-1St/A-201. If you’ve ever been to Sangam Vihar you know how the streets are. It’s narrow and always busy with rickshaws and people walking everywhere. We work out of this small unit and it gets pretty cramped when everyone is in at the same time. We mostly do sales and marketing stuff but it’s not like what you see on TV. It’s a lot of calling and talking to people and trying to figure out what they want. The walls are a bit plain and we’ve got a few calendars hanging up to keep track of the days. New Delhi - 62 is a big area but this little corner is where we spend all our time. The sounds from the street come right through the windows so it’s never really quiet here. We drink a lot of chai to keep ourselves going throughout the afternoon. It isn't a glamorous job but it pays the bills and keeps us busy. We know most of the shopkeepers around the block. Sometimes we have to move the bikes around just to let someone pass on the road. It’s a lively neighborhood and there is always something happening outside the door. We just try to stay focused on the work we have to do and not get too distracted by the chaos of the city.
