The building, Daya Niwas, is a bit of an older place, but it has a lot of character and suits us just fine. Doing sales and marketing work in a place like Rishikesh is interesting because the town has such a specific energy. We aren't a high-pressure corporate firm with suits and ties. Most days, we’re just sitting around our desks, making calls and trying to get our projects moving forward. Hiralal Marg stays pretty busy with locals and tourists, so there is always some noise coming in from the street. We don't use any fancy talk to describe what we do here. It’s basically just hard work and a lot of talking to people. Our office space is quite basic, with just the essentials we need to get through the day. Sometimes we have to deal with power cuts or the rain making everything a bit damp, but that’s just life in Uttranchal. We have a small team, and we’ve known each other for ages, which makes the long hours easier. We don't have any big goals posted on the walls. We just show up at number 7 and do our best to keep things running smoothly. It’s a local business through and through.
