Sakura Tours

You can find us at Teen Murti House on Teen Murti Marg in New Delhi. It’s a nice, quiet part of the city compared to the main markets. Our office at Sakura Tours is where we spend our time planning trips and sorting out travel details. It’s not a huge place. We have a few desks with computers and some old travel brochures lying around. Most of our work happens over the phone or through email. We talk to people about where they want to go and try to find the best way for them to get there. It’s a lot of looking at flight schedules and checking visa rules, which seem to change all the time. We aren't a big corporate agency. It’s just a few of us who have been in the travel business for a while. We drink a lot of tea and sometimes have lunch together at our desks when things get busy. The office has a bit of a lived-in feel to it. We have maps on the walls and some souvenirs from places we’ve helped people visit. It’s a steady job. We don’t make big promises, we just do the legwork to make sure a trip goes okay. Sometimes things go wrong with a booking and we have to spend the afternoon on the phone fixing it, but that’s just part of the travel world. We like being in this part of Delhi. It's a good place to come to work every day.
