We work out of a house in R.K. Puram, specifically House No. 844 in Sector-4. It’s a nice area of New Delhi with lots of trees and families living around us. We’ve set up our office in a few of the rooms on the ground floor. It’s a bit different than working in a commercial building because you have the kitchen right there and the living room feel. We handle various service requests and do a lot of coordination from our desks. The space is a bit tight because we have so many files and boxes of documents stored here. We spend our days answering emails and making sure our clients are getting what they need. It’s a small operation, just a few of us who have been working together for years. We don’t have a formal dress code or anything like that; we just wear what’s comfortable and get to work. Sometimes the doorbell rings and it’s a delivery or someone from the neighborhood, and we have to stop what we are doing to answer it. It’s a very relaxed but busy atmosphere. We like being in a residential sector because it’s quieter and feels more like home. We just keep our heads down and work through the tasks we have scheduled for the week. It’s a simple way of doing business and it suits us just fine.
