Sanjay Gandhi Transport Nagar is a rough kind of place, and that is where you will find us at Sahil Body Builders, specifically at CW 328. There is a lot of heavy metal and the sound of hammers hitting steel is something we hear all day long. It is dirty work and we are usually covered in some kind of dust or sparks from the welding. We have a big open space because we need it for the trucks. It is hot in the summer and the metal gets so warm you can barely touch it without gloves. We do not have a fancy office or anywhere clean to sit down. Most of the time we are just standing around the frames or climbing up and down. There are piles of scrap metal in the corners and tools scattered across the work benches. It is a loud environment with the sound of engines and people shouting over the noise. We have been in this spot for a while and we are used to the grease and the hard labor. It is just a place where we build things with our hands. We do not care much for how it looks as long as the work gets done. The floor is stained with oil and there is always something heavy that needs moving. It is just a basic workshop.
