Sahara Global is based out of Haidar Quli in the Fateh Puri area of Chandni Chowk. We are located at 404, right at Shri Suresh Chand Sharma’s place. If you know Chandni Chowk, you know how crowded and tight the lanes are. Getting to the office involves navigating through heaps of people and rickshaws every single morning. Our space is in one of those old buildings that has a lot of character but also a lot of narrow stairs. It’s usually quite warm inside, and the sound of the market downstairs never really stops. We handle travel and global logistics from here, which means we are always on the phone with people from all over. The desks are covered in notebooks and old maps. We don’t have a reception desk or a waiting room; it’s just a working space where everyone is busy. Suresh Chandji is around most days, and he’s been here a long time. We usually get our lunch from the local shops because the food in Fateh Puri is better than anything we could bring from home. The internet can be a bit slow because the old walls are so thick, but we manage. It’s a bit of a maze getting here, but once you’re inside, it’s just a group of us working hard. We don’t use fancy titles or wear suits. It’s a practical place for people who just want to get the job done.
