Sahara Air Lines

The office is located at 28/33-A Kasturaba Nagar in the Shahdra area of Delhi. It's a pretty busy neighborhood, so there is always the sound of horns and people talking outside the windows. We aren't at the actual airport, which confuses some people who call us. This is more of an administrative spot where we handle the back-end stuff for the airline. The furniture is a bit dated and the carpet has some stains from years of people walking in and out. We spend a lot of time on the phone or staring at flight schedules on the screens. It’s a lot of data and numbers. Sometimes the internet goes down and we have to wait for the technician to come all the way out to Shahdra, which takes forever. We eat our lunch together in the small back room. There’s a tiny stove for making tea. It gets really hot in the afternoons because the sun hits the front of the building directly. We have a few filing cabinets that are overflowing with old records. Nobody really wants to go through them, so they just sit there. It’s not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy. We see a lot of the same delivery guys every day. We just try to get the work done without too much fuss. It's a steady place to work and we've all been here a while. We know the local market shops well too.
