Safar Travels

Safar Travels is located at A-361 in Jahangir Puri, Delhi, right in the heart of the 110033 zip code area. We have been here for a good while, helping people figure out their travel plans. The shop is on a busy street, so there is always noise from rickshaws and people walking past the door. Inside, we have a couple of counters where we sit and talk to customers about bus tickets or train bookings. It is a small place, and sometimes it gets really crowded if more than three people come in at once. We have maps on the wall and a lot of old ledgers where we write things down. The computer is usually on all day because we are constantly checking for available seats and prices. It is a bit of a dusty area, so we are always wiping down the desks. We do not have any fancy uniforms or anything like that; we just wear our regular clothes and get on with the job. Most of our customers are locals who live nearby and need to get to their home villages or go on a short trip. We know most of them by name. There is a small fan near the ceiling that rattles, but it keeps the air moving. Dealing with travel can be stressful when things get canceled, but we just try to sort it out as best as we can from our little office. It is honest work and we like seeing people off.
