We operate out of Suresh Sadan, which is over in DLF Phase-3, Gurgaon. The address is U-5/19, and it’s basically a converted residential house, which is pretty common around here. S.A. Consultants & Forwarders has been running from this spot for quite some time now. It feels a bit more like a home than a stiff office. We have the forwarding side of things where we handle all the paperwork for moving goods around. It involves a lot of phone calls to drivers and warehouses. The air conditioner in the main room hums quite loudly, so we have to speak up sometimes. Being in Haryana, we get those long summer days where the heat is just something you live with. We have a small porch where some of us go to get a bit of fresh air, though usually, it’s just looking at the cars parked along the street. The office is full of files and folders because we haven't gone completely digital yet. There is something about having the paper in your hand that feels more real. We don't have a big corporate culture here. It's more like a small family. We know who likes their tea with extra sugar and who prefers it black. It’s a busy life, but it’s straightforward. We just try to get the packages moved and the consulting done without making any big errors or causing delays for the people waiting.
