Sachdeva Motor Cycle Co is right in the middle of Karol Bagh at Naiwala. If you know Naiwala, you know it’s the place to be for bikes. The whole area smells like oil and petrol, and we fit right in. Our days are spent surrounded by spare parts, tires, and old engines. It’s a messy job and there’s always grease under our fingernails. We mostly sell parts and help people get their motorcycles back on the road. It’s a noisy street with people constantly revving engines and shouting over the traffic. A quiet office or a fancy showroom isn't something we have here. It’s just a shop filled with shelves of metal bits and rubber. We’ve been here in Karol Bagh for a long time and have seen all kinds of bikes come through. Some are brand new and some are held together by luck. Finding the right part for whoever walks in is what we try to do. Sometimes it’s hard to find a specific bolt in the stacks of boxes, but we usually know where it is. It’s a tough way to make a living with all the competition nearby, but we have our regulars. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop on the block. Just doing our work and going home tired at the end of the day is the goal. That’s just how it is at Naiwala. We don't bother with fancy displays or sales talk. People come here because they know we have what they need to keep their bikes running for another few years.
