R.T.Enterprises

R.T.Enterprises is tucked away at Shop No.409A in Tahirpur, which is part of the Dilshad Garden area. The shop is quite small, but we make the most of the space we have. It’s a busy part of Delhi, and the market area can be a real struggle to navigate sometimes with all the cycles and carts. Inside the shop, things are piled pretty high. We have boxes everywhere and a small desk where we handle the bills. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. The walls have some old calendars and notes stuck to them. Dilshad Garden has a lot of energy, and we feel that every day. People are always popping their heads in to ask questions. We don't have air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that works hard in the summer. It’s a very local feel. We know the other shopkeepers around Tahirpur, and we often share a cup of tea. There is no corporate polish here. We just wear our regular clothes and do the work that needs doing. Sometimes it gets crowded inside if more than two people visit at once. We just ask them to wait a minute while we find what they need. It’s a simple, practical life in this little shop. We’ve been here for a while and we just take each day as it comes, dealing with the inventory and the customers.
