Royal Jordanian

We’re based out here in Amman, Jordan. Our office isn't in a big skyscraper; it’s just a regular building where we handle things for Royal Jordanian. Being in the city means there’s always something going on outside. The streets are usually full of cars and people selling things. Inside, we just have our desks and a few phones that never seem to stop ringing. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure schedules are right. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, just a few maps and calendars. The staff here has been working together for a long time. We know how the local systems work and how to get things done when there’s a delay. It’s not a polished corporate headquarters. It’s more of a place where people show up, drink their coffee, and start the day’s work. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when everyone is talking at once, but we’re used to it. We don't have a fancy breakroom, so we just sit together and eat whatever we brought or bought from the street vendors. It’s a simple life. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to make sure everything runs as smoothly as it can. There’s no big mission statement on the wall. We just want to get through the day without too many hiccups. It’s just how we operate. We’ve been here so long the walls could tell stories about the city changing.
