Rotary Blood Bank

We are set up over in the Mangal Yadav area of New Delhi. It is a place that stays pretty busy because of the nature of what we do. At Rotary Blood Bank, the days are mostly about managing the donors who come in and making sure the storage units are working exactly like they should. It is not a glamorous job at all. We spend a lot of time cleaning surfaces, checking labels, and talking to people who might be a bit nervous about needles. The location is 110062, so we see a lot of locals from around this part of Delhi. Sometimes it gets really quiet and we just sit and wait for the next person to walk through the door. Other times it is a total rush and everyone is moving fast to get things sorted for an emergency. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls. It is more about having enough chairs and making sure the air conditioning stays on because of the heat. We deal with a lot of paperwork because every drop has to be accounted for correctly. It is just a group of us here trying to keep things organized. We aren't trying to be a big corporate entity. We are just a blood bank in a busy city doing what we can with the space we have. It can be tiring but it is what we do.
