Viago Trips

Our little travel shop is No. 90 in the Main Market on Street No. 3 in Jain Nagar. Being in Rohini means there are always people around and the market is never truly silent. At Viago Trips, we spend our days looking at travel dates and trying to find flights that aren't too expensive for the neighbors who come in. The shop is quite small, so when more than two people walk in at once, it starts to feel very crowded. I’ve got a desk that’s always covered in sticky notes and printouts of hotel bookings. The phone rings a lot, usually with people asking the same questions about visas or bus timings. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that, we just rely on people walking by and seeing our sign. Sometimes the internet goes down and we just have to sit there and talk to the customers while we wait for it to come back. It’s a simple way to make a living and I like talking to people about where they want to go for their holidays. By the end of the day, the glare from the computer makes me want to just sit in the dark for a bit. It’s just a normal neighborhood business trying to help folks get around without any fuss.
