Roadways India Ltd

Roadways India Ltd has its office at 11/5B on the first floor of a building on Pusa Road. This is a very busy area with the metro line running nearby and cars honking at almost every hour. Being on the first floor means we can hear everything happening on the street, but we are just high enough to not be right in the middle of it. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow and old. Inside, the space is filled with the sound of keyboards and the occasional ringing of a landline phone. We have a lot of metal cabinets where we store all the records and files from over the years. The desks are large and wooden, with enough space for our computers and the various stamps we use for the paperwork. There is a small area in the back where we can sit and have a quick lunch or a cup of coffee. The walls are mostly bare except for a few notices and a map of the local roads. We spend our days coordinating different tasks and making sure all the logs are updated. Pusa Road is a central spot, so we get people coming in for all sorts of things throughout the day. It is a very practical office where we focus on the logistics and the daily routine without much interruption. We have been in this building for a while and the staff knows exactly where everything is kept.
