Riyatravel&Tours

Riyatravel&Tours is located over here in Coimbatore, specifically at 15/20 Vaidhiyar House in E.B. Colony, Saravanampatti. It’s a nice area, fairly residential but it is growing really fast. We’ve got this office set up in a house, which makes it feel a lot more comfortable than some cold office building downtown. Most of our day is spent booking tickets and talking to people about where they want to go for their holidays. Coimbatore is a busy city, but our corner in Saravanampatti is a bit more relaxed than the center. We have a lot of regular customers who just stop by to say hello or ask about the latest bus timings. The internet can be a bit spotty when it rains heavily, which is a bit of a problem since everything is online now. We just wait it out and drink some coffee while we wait for the connection to come back. There are about four of us working here most days. We don't have any uniforms or anything like that. Just regular clothes and a lot of work to do on the computers. We’ve been at Vaidhiyar House for a while now and the landlord is a decent person. Sometimes we have to stay quite late during the holiday seasons when everyone wants to travel at the same time. It’s a bit chaotic then, but we always manage. We aren't a giant agency, just a local one trying to help people get from one place to another.
