Riya Tours&Travels

We are based at Q-No 08 Pbg, right inside the Rashtrapati Bhawan area in New Delhi. It’s a very secure part of the city, as you can imagine. We go by Riya Tours and Travels. My brother and I started this because we knew a lot about getting around the city and the rest of the country. Our office isn't very big. It’s mostly maps on the walls and a few stacks of brochures that we’ve collected over the months. We spend a lot of time on the phone talking to drivers and making sure the cars are where they need to be. Sometimes the internet goes slow and we have to wait a bit to confirm a booking. It’s part of the job. Being near the Rashtrapati Bhawan means we see a lot of government staff and security around. It makes the area feel very official. We help people figure out how to get from one place to another without getting lost in the Delhi traffic. We don't have fancy uniforms or a polished reception. It’s just us in our regular clothes, sitting at the desks and trying to get things sorted. If someone walks in, they usually just pull up a plastic chair and tell us where they want to go. We keep a notebook of all the trips we’ve organized. It’s getting pretty thick now. We like the work because every day someone is going somewhere different. It keeps us busy.
