Riya Electronic

Riya Electronic is a small shop located at Mayur Vihar Phase III 1,50b. We have been in this spot for quite a while now. The shop is filled with all sorts of electrical things like ceiling fans, copper wires, switches, and LED bulbs. Most of my day is spent at the back bench where I have all my tools. People bring in their broken toasters, mixers, or even just remotes that stopped working. I use a soldering iron to fix the connections, and there are always little bits of wire and solder all over the floor. It’s hard to keep the place organized when so many people are bringing in items for repair. The shelves are packed with boxes of new fans and heaters, and sometimes it’s hard to move around in here. The neighborhood is mostly families, so we know our customers pretty well. They come in to ask which bulb is the brightest or if a certain wire is safe for their heavy appliances. I like the work because it keeps my hands busy, even if it gets a bit greasy sometimes. In the summer, the shop gets really hot because of the soldering iron and all the lights we have to test. I usually keep a small fan running right next to me. It’s a simple life running an electronics shop in Mayur Vihar. We just focus on fixing things and selling what people need for their houses without much fuss.
