Rising Star Tours & Travels

Our travel agency, Rising Star Tours & Travels, is based in Mukhram Garden at E-8. This is in the Tilak Nagar area of New Delhi. It’s a pretty busy neighborhood and we’ve got our small office set up right here. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or looking at computer screens trying to sort out trips for people. It is usually quite a mess of papers and brochures on the desks, but we know where everything is. People stop by to ask about bus tickets or how much a trip to the mountains would cost. We aren't a big fancy chain, just a local spot where we know a lot of the residents. Tilak Nagar has a lot of energy and we are right in the middle of it. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to tell people to wait a bit, which is annoying but that's life. We have a small seating area for customers but it often gets filled up with boxes or files. We don’t have any slick marketing or anything like that. We just talk to people and try to find them a decent deal. The office is easy to find if you are near the garden. We’ve been at this for a while and we just take things one day at a time. It’s hard work sometimes but we enjoy the chat with different people who come through the door looking to go somewhere new.
