Retiring On 30.11.08

The name of this place is a bit strange I guess but it marks a specific time for us back in late 2008. We are set up right on the edge of New Delhi and Haryana with the 110045 pin code. It is a quiet little spot where we handle our daily business without much fuss. The office isn't much to look at from the outside but it works for what we do. You see a lot of people coming and going across the state line around here. Some days the traffic is a real mess but once you get inside the building it is mostly calm. We have some old desks and a couple of computers that have seen better days but they still get the job done for us. It feels like a very local operation because it is. We don't have a big team of people in suits running around. It is just a few of us making sure everything stays on track. The weather gets really hot in the summer so we spend a lot of time near the cooler trying to stay productive. People from the neighborhood stop by sometimes just to say hello or ask for directions. We’ve been in this specific area for years now and we know the tea stall around the corner has the best ginger chai if you are willing to wait a few minutes in line.
