Retired Officer From Iaf

I’m based out of my home at the I.E.S Apartments in Dwarka. It’s Apartment 47 on Plot 9 in Sector 4. After spending years in the Indian Air Force, this is where I’ve settled down. It’s a quiet residential complex in New Delhi. I use one of the rooms as a sort of office for my daily tasks. It’s not a business in the traditional sense, but I stay busy with various bits of work and correspondence. The neighborhood is mostly other retired folks and families. It’s a far cry from the airbases I used to be stationed at. I keep a pretty disciplined schedule, old habits die hard I suppose. I spend a lot of my time at my desk, looking out at the other blocks of apartments. Dwarka is a well-planned area, so it’s easy to get around when I need to. I don’t have a staff or anything, just me and my computer. Sometimes I meet with former colleagues to discuss things or just catch up. The apartment is comfortable and it suits my needs for now. It’s just a regular home where I happen to get some work done. I don’t need much else. The traffic in Delhi is a pain, so I’m glad I don’t have to commute anymore. I just step into the next room and I’m at my desk. It’s a peaceful way to stay active in my retirement and keep things moving.
