About Retired From Indian Airlines In 2006 – Tourism in Delhi
After finishing up with the airlines back in 2006, I didn't want to just sit idle at home. So I started this small setup here in Gautam Nagar. The house at 123A is where I spend most of my time now. It is quite a change from the busy airport life I used to have for so many years. Now it is just me and a few papers on the desk. My neighbors know I am here if they need something sorted out. The building isn't new, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it is comfortable enough. I keep regular hours mostly, though sometimes I close early if there is something to do in the market. Living and working in the same area makes things easy. I don't miss the long commutes anymore. It’s a bit noisy outside because Gautam Nagar is always full of people and students, but inside it stays peaceful. I have a small desk and a chair that has seen better days. It is not a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. Just a simple place where I can keep busy and stay connected with the world. People stop by to chat sometimes about the old days in aviation. I like having something to do every morning when I wake up. It keeps the mind sharp after all those years of service. It keeps me going every single day.
