Residency Resorts New Delhi

It’s a bit funny that we’re called Residency Resorts New Delhi when we are actually located way out in Village-Babina, near Dudharkhal in the Pauri Garhwal district. People sometimes call us asking for directions from the airport in Delhi, and we have to tell them it’s a much longer drive up into the hills of Uttarakhand. Our place is tucked away from the main roads, so it stays really peaceful. You can mostly hear the birds and the wind through the trees. We’ve been operating here for a while, and the staff are mostly local people from the nearby villages who know the mountain paths better than anyone. The rooms are basic but comfortable enough for someone looking to escape the city noise. We don't have those massive buffet lines or fancy elevators. It’s more about sitting on the porch with a cup of tea and looking at the hills. In the winters it gets quite cold, so we make sure there are enough blankets to go around. The road up here can be a bit bumpy, but once you arrive, the air is so much cleaner. We spend our mornings cleaning up the garden and making sure everything is ready for whoever might show up. It is a quiet life here in Babina, and we prefer it that way compared to the rush of the big city life. It takes some time to get used to the silence, but most guests like it.
