Reservation Data Maintenance(Space Control Of Lufthansa Airline)

We work out of the 1st floor at 521, Dr. Mukerjee Nagar in Delhi-9. Our specific job here is Reservation Data Maintenance, which basically means we handle the space control systems for Lufthansa Airline. It is a lot of technical work involving numbers and schedules, so the office is usually pretty quiet compared to the busy streets of Mukerjee Nagar outside. Since this area is full of students studying for exams, there are always bookstores and tea stalls nearby, which is where we go during our breaks. The office itself is just a regular room on the first floor with rows of computers and people wearing headsets. We do not deal with the public directly very often because our work is all on the backend of the airline systems. We spend our shifts making sure the data for the flights is correct and that the seat counts match up in the computer. The building is an older one, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it is a good spot for us. We have been at 521 for a long time, and we just focus on our screens and our data entry tasks. It is not glamorous work, but it is important for keeping the planes flying on time with the right number of passengers. We just come in, do our hours on the first floor, and then head home into the Delhi traffic.
