Republic Of Chicken is tucked away in the School Block area of Shakarpur. The address is S-666A, which is easy to remember once you’ve been here a couple of times. Delhi 110092 is a lively place to be, especially around the lunch hour when everyone is looking for something to eat. We are part of Alchemist Ltd, but most folks just know us for the chicken. The shop gets pretty warm in the summer, but we keep the fans going as much as we can. It’s not a huge space, but it serves the purpose for what we do every day. We get a lot of regulars who stop by on their way home from work. You see the same faces every week, which is nice. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure everything is where it should be. The floors get cleaned a dozen times a day because that’s just necessary when you’re dealing with food.
