Reliance India is tucked away at 1324 Vaid Wara, Maliwara in the Chandni Chowk area of Delhi-6. If you know Chandni Chowk, you know it’s one of the busiest and oldest parts of the city. The lanes are very narrow and always packed with people, rickshaws, and carts. Our office is right in the thick of it. It’s a small space, and we have to be very organized because there isn't much room to move around. We deal with a lot of paperwork and local business matters here. The noise from the market outside is something you just get used to after a few days. We don't have any flashy signs or a big lobby. It’s just a doorway in a busy street that leads to our workspace. Most of the people working here have lived in this part of Delhi their whole lives. We drink a lot of tea from the local vendors and talk to the neighbors every morning. It’s a very traditional way of working compared to the new office blocks in other parts of the city. We don't use any fancy language to describe what we do; we just handle the business that comes our way. It’s crowded, it’s loud, and it’s always busy at 1324 Vaid Wara. This is just how we operate at Reliance India in the heart of Delhi-6.
