Regent Restaurant

Our place is located at Rz-82 in Vinoba Enclave Extension, near the C.R.P.F. area in Jharoda Kalan. Najafgarh is a bit on the outskirts of New Delhi, but it’s a place with a lot of character. Running a restaurant isn't just about the food people see on the plates; it’s about the heat in the kitchen and the early mornings getting everything ready. We spend a lot of time cleaning, chopping vegetables, and making sure the stove is working right. The building isn't brand new, and we’ve had to fix the plumbing more times than I can count. It’s a local spot where people come when they want something familiar. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us in the kitchen and a couple of people out front. Sometimes it gets really hectic when a big group shows up out of nowhere, and we all have to scramble. Other times it’s quiet enough that we can sit down and have a cup of tea ourselves. The furniture is simple and sturdy because it has to be. We deal with the local suppliers for our ingredients, and they’ve become our friends over the years. It’s hard work on your feet all day, and you go home smelling like onions and oil, but it’s what we know. We just try to keep the kitchen running and the floors clean every single day.
