Receptionist

We are based out of the area in Ajmer where people go for matters related to the R.B.S.E. It is a part of town that has seen many students and families come through over the years for their exams. Our office is quite basic, mostly consisting of a main desk and some plastic chairs for anyone who needs to wait. Ajmer is a very nice place to live and work, even though it can get quite dusty and the heat in the summer is no joke. We spend our days answering the phone and writing down details in the big paper ledgers we still use. It is not a high-tech office by any means, we just have the things we need to get the job done. We actually like the slower pace of life here compared to what you find in the bigger cities like Delhi or Jaipur. The building we are in is quite old but it stays relatively cool inside because the walls are so thick. We have a small window that looks out towards the main road so we can see what is happening outside. Most people who come to see us are looking for some help with their documents or just need some information. We try to be helpful and keep things simple for them. It is a quiet kind of life. We usually have our tea around eleven and talk about the daily news. It is just a regular day-to-day operation.
