Our office is tucked away on the second floor of the MIG Flats in Janakpuri. If you have ever been to C1A/5C, you know it is a pretty typical residential neighborhood, so the place does not feel like a big corporate park or anything like that. We have been operating Rdm India Pvt. Ltd. from here for some time. Most days involve a lot of desk work, phone calls, and dealing with paperwork that never seems to end. It is quiet enough most of the time, except when the neighbors are out or someone is moving furniture around upstairs. We keep things pretty simple in the office. There are just a few of us here handling the daily operations. We do not have a flashy reception desk or a bunch of slogans painted on the walls. It is just desks, computers, and a lot of files. Sometimes the internet acts up or the power goes out for a bit, which is just part of living and working in New Delhi, really. We usually grab our lunch from the local shops just down the street. It feels more like a home office that grew a bit too big for a regular living room. We like being in Janakpuri because it is easy for us to get to, and we have gotten to know the people around the block. We are not trying to be the biggest company out there. (251 words)
