Even though the name mentions Gurgaon, we are actually situated over in Laxminagar, New Delhi. Our place is at 72/3 in the J-Extension area, right on Murtiwali Gali. If you know Laxminagar, you know it’s a maze of narrow streets and busy markets. Murtiwali Gali is famous for exactly what the name suggests, and you can see a lot of activity happening all around us. Our office is tucked away in one of these alleys. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs, and the building is older, with those heavy metal doors that rattle when you close them. We deal with industrial matters, but our day-to-day is very grounded. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at spreadsheets on old monitors. The air in Laxminagar can get quite dusty, especially when there’s construction nearby, which seems to be all the time. We usually grab lunch from the local stalls nearby because it’s easier than trying to cook in the small pantry we have. We aren't a massive corporation with hundreds of employees. It's just a small team trying to keep things running smoothly. Sometimes we have to remind people we aren't actually in Gurgaon despite the company name on the paperwork. It’s just one of those things that happened when the business was set up. We like the energy of the Gali, even if it’s noisy.
