Rashtriya Sewa Samvardhan Samiti

Rashtriya Sewa Samvardhan Samiti is over at B-114 in Hari Nagar Part-II. This is the Badarpur area of New Delhi, pin 110008. It’s a very community-oriented place. We aren't in a high-rise building or a modern business park. We are right there in the middle of the neighborhood. People stop by all the time just to say hello or ask a question about what we do. The office is simple, just some basic furniture and a lot of registers. We do a lot of community work from this spot. It gets quite dusty because of the construction nearby, so we are always dusting off the tables. The Hari Nagar area is quite tight, so parking a car can be a real headache for visitors. Most of us just use the bus or walk to work. We have a small sign, but most people know where we are because we’ve been here so long. It’s not a place for fancy meetings. We usually just sit around a big table and talk things through. The fans hum in the background while we work. It’s a very grounded way to spend the day. We don't have a mission statement on the wall or anything like that. We just show up and do what needs to be done for the people who come to see us. It’s just us doing our part in Badarpur.
