Our office is in Market No 4 at the Chittaranjan Park Community Centre. This is a very specific part of Delhi. It’s known for the markets and the people who have lived here for generations. We fit right into the community here. The office is small and surrounded by other shops like tailors and grocery stores. We spend our days talking to our neighbors and helping people plan their trips. It’s a lot of talk and a lot of phone calls. We have a few old posters on the walls that have faded over time. Our desks are crowded with folders and calendars. We don't have a corporate vibe at all. It feels more like sitting in someone’s living room sometimes. We know most of the people who walk past our door. In the evenings, the market gets very crowded and the smell of street food is everywhere. We usually stay open until the market starts to quiet down. Our work is simple: we listen to where people want to go and we try to help them get there. We’ve been at this Community Centre location for years. It’s a comfortable place to work. We don't need a lot of fancy technology to do what we do. Just a phone, a computer, and some patience. We make sure to keep a stock of local newspapers for people to read while they wait. It’s just how we do things here. We have a small fan that hums in the corner all day long.
