Rancan Gamma Knife Centre - Vimhans Hospital

You can find us over at the Vimhans Hospital in the 01 Institutional Area. We are the Rancan Gamma Knife Centre part of the building. It’s a busy place with doctors and patients moving around all the time. Most of what we do involves the gamma knife equipment which is pretty specialized stuff for brain treatments. We aren't the main hospital but we work right inside there in New Delhi - 65. The halls can be a bit confusing if you’re new but we’ve been here long enough that we know every corner. We spend the day setting up the machines and making sure the schedules are right for the people coming in. It’s a lot of precise work. The staff here is mostly focused on the technical side of the radiation treatments. We don't have much of a lobby to speak of, just the clinical space. The atmosphere is quiet because everyone is concentrating. Sometimes it gets a bit heavy given the nature of the medical work but we just keep going. Working at Vimhans means there is always something happening around us. We aren't a big corporate team, just the small group that runs this specific center. We see a lot of people from all over Delhi and even outside the city. It’s just our daily life here among the scanners and the hospital noise. It’s what we do and we’ve been at it for a good bit now without any big fuss.
