Ran Air Services Ltd.

This place is Ran Air Services Ltd. and we are situated over at the Dayaram Apartment on 100 Road. It’s right near the Ranjit Akhada in Gitroni, New Delhi. It’s a bit of a strange situation because we have this link to Danagadi in the Jajpur district of Orissa too. Most of our daily work happens here in New Delhi-30 though. The apartment building is pretty quiet for the most part, though you get the usual city sounds from the road. We have a small office space where we handle all the service requests and the logistics. It is not a very large team, just a few of us making sure everything is moving along. We have some desks, a couple of computers, and a lot of logbooks. Sometimes the mail for Orissa gets mixed up with the Delhi stuff, which keeps us on our toes. The 755026 zip code feels far away when we are sitting here in Gitroni. We spend our mornings checking the schedules and the afternoons catching up on emails. It’s a simple setup. No one wears suits here; we just dress regular and get to work. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that’s usually the highlight of the afternoon when things get a bit slow. The Ranjit Akhada is a good landmark because everyone knows where the wrestlers practice. We are just a short walk from there. Dayaram Apartment is an older building, so the walls have a few cracks here and there, but it is sturdy enough for us to work in every day.
