Ramoji Film City

We are based out of Ramoji Film City. It’s a massive place known for all the movies, but our day-to-day is much more grounded in reality. Lately, a lot of our conversations have been revolving around the numbers, like the current Ctc being 2.5 Lacs and the expected Ctc of 3.25 Lacs. It’s a lot of math and payroll talk rather than film scripts or cameras. We aren't the people you see on the big screen. We are just the staff working in the background to make sure the administrative side of things is handled. The film city is a busy place with lots of tourists and film crews moving around, but we stay in our little corner focusing on the figures. It’s a bit of a walk to get to our section from the main gates. We don't have any grand statements to make about our work. We just look at the spreadsheets and try to figure out the best way to manage the costs and expectations. It’s practical, everyday work. The environment is interesting because of where we are, but at the end of the day, it’s just a job like any other. We talk about our salaries and the cost of living just like everyone else. There isn't any Hollywood magic in our office, just calculators and computers. We’re just a small group trying to get the numbers right for the future.
