Ramada Plaza

We are located in Kapashera, which is that busy area right on the edge of New Delhi 37, near the border. It’s a big building and you can’t really miss it if you’re driving through that part of town. The Ramada Plaza has been here for a while, and we see a lot of people coming in from the airport because it’s so close. The staff here is mostly local folks who have been working in the hotel line for years. It’s a lot of work keeping a place this size running. We spend our days checking people in, making sure the rooms are okay, and dealing with whatever problems pop up, like a leaky tap or a slow elevator. Kapashera can get very crowded with trucks and cars, so it’s always a bit of a scramble getting to work on time. Inside, it’s a bit more relaxed than the street outside. We have different floors for rooms and some spaces for meetings, though we mostly just focus on the day-to-day tasks. We don't use a lot of fancy talk here; we just want people to have a place to sleep that works. It’s a regular job for us, and we try to keep things moving as best as we can. You get to meet a lot of different travelers, which is probably the most interesting part of working at this location. It’s just how things are around here in Kapashera, busy and always moving.
