Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Centre

Our building is over in Sector-16 of Rohini, specifically at C-1/65. It’s a busy medical facility, so things can feel a bit intense most of the time. There are always people in the hallways and doctors rushing between rooms. We handle a lot of the administrative side of things and the research data that comes through. It’s not a quiet office job; you can hear the machines humming and the announcements over the speakers all day long. We have a lot of files to keep track of, and sometimes the stacks of paper get a bit overwhelming. The staff here is dedicated, but we are also just regular people who get tired after a long shift. We drink a lot of coffee in the break room while we talk about the cases we’ve seen. Rohini is a big area, and being in Sector-16 means we are surrounded by houses and other small clinics. It feels like a community effort. We don't have time for fancy decorations or marketing. We are too busy trying to make sure every record is filed correctly and every patient is accounted for. It can be a tough place to work because of the nature of the illness we deal with, but we just show up and do what needs to be done. The building itself is quite plain, but it's what happens inside that matters to us and the families who come here daily.
