Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institue & Research Center

This particular center is located at A-124 in Karam Pura. It is a different branch from the main hospital facility people usually think of. Here at this address in New Delhi-15, we deal with a lot of the administrative side and some patient coordination. The building is a bit older and sits on a busy street. There is always a lot of traffic and noise from the shops nearby. Inside, we try to keep things as organized as possible, but it can get crowded when many people arrive at once. We have a small waiting area with some magazines that are a few months old. The walls are painted a simple off-white and there are folders everywhere. Our staff is mostly busy with filing and talking to families who need help navigating the system. It is serious work and we don't have much time for small talk. Sometimes the printers jam or the phones won't stop ringing. We just take it one day at a time. The neighborhood has a lot of small places to eat, so lunch is usually something quick from around the corner. We have been here for a while and the locals know the building well. We aren't trying to be fancy or look like a corporate office. It is just a place where we come to do our jobs and help the people who walk through the door with their medical papers.
