Rajesh Telecom

The Ara Centre in Jhandewalan Extension is where you'll find us, specifically at number 232. Rajesh Telecom is a small shop, E-2 to be exact. It’s mostly just me and a couple of others surrounded by phones, chargers, and tangled cables. The building is a bit of a maze, but people find their way to us. Most of the day is spent hunched over a workbench with a tiny screwdriver, trying to fix cracked screens or charging ports that stopped working. It’s fiddly work and can be tough on the eyes. We also handle a lot of recharges and SIM card issues. Jhandewalan is a busy area, so there is always someone coming in with a problem. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when three or four people are waiting at once. We don't have a big corporate setup. It’s just a counter, some display cases that are a bit scratched, and our tools. We try to be quick, but some repairs just take time. We listen to the radio or have the news on a small TV in the corner to pass the time. It gets a bit noisy with the street sounds coming in, but you get used to it. We aren't here to give a sales pitch. If a phone can be fixed, we tell you. If it’s junk, we tell you that too. It’s just a regular local shop where we do our best with what we have. Evenings are for finishing up the backlog of repairs and organizing the small parts.
