I've been running Rajeev Telecom here in Vashist Park for quite some time now. Our spot is at WZ 13H, right on Street No. 6 off Pankha Road. It’s a busy area. Most days, I’m just here behind the counter. People come in with cracked screens or phones that won't charge. It gets dusty because of the traffic on Pankha Road, so I spend a lot of time wiping down the glass cases. My brother helps out when it gets crowded in the evenings. We see all sorts of folks from the neighborhood. Some just want a recharge, others are looking for a cheap second-hand phone. It’s not a fancy place. We have a couple of chairs that have seen better days. Sometimes the tea guy from next door brings over a cup while I'm trying to figure out why a motherboard isn't working. It’s a small shop, but we know most of the people who walk past. Street No. 6 is usually where the locals shortcut through. I usually open around ten in the morning, unless the traffic is really bad. We keep a stock of screen guards and some basic chargers. Nothing too high-end. It’s just honest work. If a phone is beyond repair, I tell the person straight. No use wasting their money. That’s how we’ve stayed here this long. Just a normal shop in a normal part of the city. We don't have a big sign, just enough to be seen.
