Raj Travel World(Shree Raj Travels & Tours Ltd)

You can find us right in the middle circle of Connaught Place, over at A-25/4. If you know Delhi, you know how busy CP gets with the traffic and the crowds everywhere. Raj Travel World has been sitting here for a while now, and we have seen the area change quite a bit over the years. It is an old building, so it has that specific smell of old paper and stone. We spend our days dealing with tours and travel stuff, mostly sitting behind our desks and talking to people who walk in off the street. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk about the cricket scores, but other days it feels like everyone in the city wants to go somewhere at the same time. We don't have any fancy robots or high-tech screens, just our computers and a bunch of printed itineraries. Shree Raj Travels & Tours Ltd is the full name on the paperwork, but most folks just call us Raj Travel. We have a few desks pushed together and the air conditioning usually works, which is a blessing in the Delhi summer. We try to be helpful when people are confused about their visas or flight timings. It’s just a job we’ve been doing for a long time. We like the neighborhood even if parking is a nightmare. Usually, we just grab a quick lunch from a nearby stall and get back to the phones. We try to keep it simple.
