Raj Travel World

Nehru Place is always a bit of a scramble, and our office at 421/423 is right in the middle of all that energy. Raj Travel World has been operating out of this building for a long time. You can hear the noise from the computer market and the metro station all day long. The office itself is quite narrow, so we have to be careful not to trip over the computer cables on the floor. We have stacks of paper everywhere because we deal with a lot of documentation. Our desks are pushed right up against each other to save space. It gets pretty crowded during the lunch hour when everyone is out in the corridors. We usually eat at our desks while we answer emails or take calls from people asking about prices. The air conditioner works most of the time, but on the really hot days, it struggles to keep up with the heat outside. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. People just walk right into the workspace and talk to us while we’re working. It’s a busy, somewhat messy environment, but we are used to the pace of Nehru Place by now. We just keep our heads down and get the work done as best as we can. There is always something happening right outside our door, whether it’s a delivery or someone looking for directions. It keeps us on our toes throughout the week.
