Raj Tours And Travels is located at 963 Mubarakpur Kotla in New Delhi and it’s a place where things are always a bit hectic. We spend most of our time looking at maps and checking bus schedules for people who want to go somewhere else for a few days. The office isn't very big and it’s usually piled up with brochures and old receipts. We have lived and worked in this part of Delhi for a long time so we know the shortcuts and the best ways to get around the traffic. When people come in they usually want to know how much a ticket costs or if we have a car available for a wedding or a trip to the mountains. We don't have any big slogans or anything like that. We just tell them what is available and try to help them get a seat on a bus that isn't too crowded. Sometimes the internet goes down and we have to do everything by hand which is a real pain but we get it done eventually. Dealing with travel means things change all the time like trains being late or roads being closed. We just try to keep our customers informed so they don't get stuck somewhere. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and writing things down in ledgers. We’re just local people helping other locals get where they need to go without a lot of fuss.
